What is the project?
The project ran from 2005 until 2009. Through the Career Education Lighthouse Schools Project, selected schools developed, delivered, documented and disseminated best practices in teaching and learning in career education in Australia.
Principals Australia conducted the project. Best practice models of career education in a number of lighthouse schools were funded. These schools disseminated information about their practice to other schools.
The schools represented a diverse range of best practice and/or innovative career education models across the country.
Schools from all sectors and all states and territories were represented.
